The Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be holding two fall commercial pesticide training classes next week.

Both classes will be from 9-11:30am, with an admission fee of $45 for those that register in advance, and $55 for those that register the day of the training. Extension Program Director Meghan McBride says that on Tuesday the class will be for Fumigation, while on Wednesday the class will be for Commercial Ag Weed, Insect and Plant Disease Management. She adds that these trainings are important to attend for anyone in the pesticide business, as they are a requirement for their certifications.
