Fall sports for Greene County High School athletes and teams are over and Winter sports are about to begin. Greene County has a new sharing agreement with Carroll High for boys’ swimming and Ram Activities Director Dave Wright thinks two or more Greene County students will swim at Carroll this season. Also new to the sports lineup for the Rams is bowling for girls and boys. The Rams also host a shared wrestling program with Paton-Churdan, as well as having girls and boys basketball.
John Woodford is the bowling coach with Kirk Davis moving up from being an assistant wrestling coach to the head spot, while Chris Nelson and Tori Ogden return as head basketball coaches, Nelson for the boys and Ogden for the girls.
Bowling and girls’ basketball practices start Monday, Nov. 6 with wrestling, swimming, and boys’ basketball getting underway on Nov. 13.
