The Dallas County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday. 

The Board tabled the appointment for the county’s eminent domain commission for further evaluation. Then they approved the Dallas County Administration Building Project’s Topping Out event for 11am on October 31st, out of state travel request for the Human Resources Department to go to a public relations conference in Savannah, Georgia and the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Highway 141 road preconstruction agreement to pave nine intersections. They approved a sheriff’s vehicle request for a F150 pickup for the amount of $33,600 and the first reading of the proposed amendments to the chapter nine records retention. The amended amendment would modernize how they retain their records by using an electronic system.
