All three school districts in Guthrie County are sending runners to the state cross country meet Friday.
Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center will be sending four individuals and both teams to the meet, with the boys and girls both taking first place in their qualifying meet. From the boys team, Andrew Mahaffey, Noah Kading and Gavin Sloss will compete individually, as well as Ava Cambpell from the girls team. Panorama will be sending three individuals as well, with Kylie Rochholz placing third in the qualifying meet, and Laicey Lutz and Noah Poldberg will join her on the trip to Fort Dodge. For West Central Valley, Taitlin Koch was the first for the Wildcats to cross the finish line, securing sixth place at the meet, and her ticket to the state meet.
