Communities in Greene County are celebrating the Halloween season with lots of opportunities for kids and families to get candy and other treats.
Churdan is having its Beggars Night on Friday from 5-7pm, along with a Trunk or Treat at the Churdan Community Room Parking Lot, sponsored by the Paton-Churdan National Honor Society from 5-6pm.
Scranton and Grand Junction’s Beggars Night is Saturday from 5-7pm. Grand Junction will also have its Trunk or Treat on Main Street at the same time. Rippey will have a Trunk and Treat also on Saturday from 5-6:30pm at the Rippey Community Center and Main Street, along with pumpkin painting. Paton’s Beggars Night is next Monday, October 30th from 5:30-7pm.
Jefferson’s Beggars Night is on Halloween from 5-7pm. Regency Park Nursing and Rehab Center staff and residents will be handing out candy from 5-7pm, while the extended care patients at Greene County Medical Center will also hand out candy in the main lobby from 4:30-6pm. There will also be a free haunted house at the Sierra Community Theatre in Jefferson from 5:30-7:30pm.
