The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.
The Council will consider several second readings to amend ordinances including a connection fee for water service lines larger than one inch, zero lot line zoning, and front yard setback for infill lots, along with the first reading to amend an ordinance about fencing regulations in city limits. The Council will also consider approving the first reading to amend another ordinance to increase water rates by five percent, amending a policy for downtown sidewalk repair and replacement responsibilities, an administrative contract with Region XII Council of Governments for an application for an Iowa Economic Development Authority Community Development Block Grant for upper story living for Jolene Peters and Art on the Fly at 114 and 116 North Wilson Avenue, along with setting a public hearing.
The Council will also consider approving a $70,000 forgivable loan to Greene Bean Coffee, and two 28E agreements for operations of the Daubendiek Park Disc Golf Course and the Greene County Animal Shelter for cost sharing operations with Greene County. They will also consider approving the purchase of an $82,092 for directional boring equipment.
