Five Greene County High School volleyball players earned Heart of Iowa Activities Conference All-Conference honors of some type from coaches in the eight team league. Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s Rams finished in third place with a 5-2 league mark and were 15-13 overall. Nevada went 7-0 and Roland-Story (Story City) was in second place at 6-1.
Rams on All-Conference first team are senior Kaylee Stalder and junior Emma Shipley. Junior Violet Reedy was on the second team with senior Graci Cooklin and junior Payton Kokenge on the honorable mention list.
Stalder’s role expanded this season from front row player to rarely leaving the court. Shipley was on the front row with Reedy the setter, Cooklin in the back row, and Kokenge a front row player.
