Greene County ended its varsity volleyball season earlier this week. For the third season in a row the Rams had more wins than losses, compiling a 15-13 record this season to go with a 5-2 Heart of Iowa Activities Conference mark, which was good for third place in the eight team league.

Senior Graci Cooklin was the team leader in digs with 288, followed by 152 from junior Emma Ewalt and 114 for senior Kaylee Stalder. The Rams had a strong season at the service line, going for 1,376 for 1,519, good for a 90.6% success rate. Among the six players with at least 100 service attempts on the season, Cooklin had the highest percentage at 96.3% (311-323) with sophomore Lila Osterson at 93.9% (275-293). Stalder led in ace serves with 33, followed by Cooklin with 26, junior Violet Reedy at 22 and Osterson with 21.
