Two Dallas County high schools will have athletes running at the state meet in Fort Dodge. 

Adel-DeSoto-Minburn boys cross country team qualified for state for the fourth year in a row. The Tigers placed third in the Clear Lake state qualifying meeting. Additionally, the ADM girls cross country team found success at Clear Lake when they placed third to punch their ticket to the state meet. 

The Perry High School boys cross country team had one athlete that performed well at their district meet in Pella. Yonas Andemichael finished 12th overall which punched his ticket to run at the state tournament next weekend. 

The state meet will be held at the Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge on Saturday, October 28th. The class 3a will run at 2pm and the boys will run at 2:45pm. Tickets will be $10 at the varsity bound website. Raccoon Valley Radio will announce winners once they become available.
