Residents of Dallas County can now cast a ballot in the November 7 City/School Election.
Absentee ballots may be cast in person at the Dallas County Auditor’s Office at 210 N 10th St., Adel, IA, during regular office hours Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm from now until Monday, November 6, 2023. Absentee ballots to be mailed must be requested in writing. Forms are available at the Auditor’s Office and on their website. All requests for ballots to be mailed must be received by the Auditor’s Office by 5 pm on Monday. Auditor Julia Helm says that there are satellite voting locations in Van Meter (Van Meter Community School) and in Waukee (560 SE University Ave. Waukee) which service all residents of Dallas County.
