With the fall sports season beginning to wind down for the Perry Bluejays and Jayettes, it’s time now to look ahead briefly at the Perry girls basketball schedule as their schedule was released recently. The Jayettes will open up their 2023 season with two straight visits to Des Moines for matchups against Des Moines Hoover and Des Moines North. Perry last year opened their year against this same Des Moines Hoover team. That was a matchup in which the Jayettes won handily 58-11. Following their first two games, they will have matchups against Boone and Ogden also on the road. The Jayettes will look to build upon their 6-15 season last year on the basketball court, in which they finished 4-10 in conference play as well. They will open their season on Monday, November 20th on the road against Des Moines Hoover.
