The summer season of the Perry Farmers Market might be behind us, but the next  market kicks off later this week.

Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says that the only Fall Farmers Market is from 10 to 2pm on Saturday at the McCreary Community Center. Pasutti says they will have fall seasonal produce, baked goods, freeze dried goodies, handspun yarn,  printed t-shirts, toys, handmade items and more. Pasutti encourages parents or guardians to bring their children for a special fall themed fundraiser. 

“Hispanics United for Perry will be having a fundraiser in the community room over at the rec center, and it’ll be painting pumpkins so they’ll have pumpkins provided, they’ll have paint, and it’ll be a suggested donation for kids to come and decorate their pumpkins. So that’s just a fun activity to also be going on during the fall market at the Rec Center. So great for the family and, you know, have some activities to go along with the shopping at the fall market.”
