
The Jayettes will begin their postseason on the volleyball court on Tuesday as they will travel to Fort Dodge to take on the Fort Dodge Dodgers in the first round of the Class 4A Region 3 bracket.
The Jayettes last fell to the the Greene County Rams on Thursday night in three straight sets in their final regular season game. The Rams took the first set by a score of 25-11. That gave them the 1-0 lead to begin the match. Perry then fought tough in the second set, but fell short again falling 25-17. Greene County then eventually sealed the deal in the third set as they finished the Jayettes off 25-12.
Fort Dodge is coming in with a 17-10 record to finish their season. Mckenzie Mcllrath is one player to watch on the Dodgers as she closes the regular season out leading Fort Dodge in kills with 177.
