Local 2023 elections are next month, but for those who will be busy on November 7th, early voting begins this week.

According to Guthrie County Auditor Dani Fink, absentee voting begins this Wednesday, October 18th. Individuals can request absentee ballots, or go into the Auditor’s Office to vote in person. She mentions that the final day to request absentee ballots is October 23rd at 5pm. In order for absentee ballots to count, they must be in to the Auditor’s Office by 8pm on elections day, November 7th. To request an absentee ballot, residents may call the Auditor’s Office at 641-747-3619 or print one off by going to the Auditor’s page on the Guthrie County website at https://guthriecounty.gov/government/county-offices/auditor/elections/.
