Two people have been arrested in a drug-related investigation in Greene County.
According to court documents, as part of the investigation by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office that began on July 12th, three search warrants were executed on August 8th at three properties. The warrants came after a tip was brought to a deputy about methamphetamine being manufactured at a home in Dana. The meth was then taken to another home in Jefferson in the 200 block of Stream Street, where it was sold to other individuals. Deputies found 30 firearms, drug paraphernalia and marijuana at the home in the 200 block of Stream Street, where 39-year-old Eric Rosenow was living. At another home of 37-year-old Roger Burnie in the 300 block of East State Street, marijuana and prescription drugs were found.
Rosenow was arrested on Tuesday and faces charges of two Class D Felonies for possession, dominion, control of firearms/offensive weapons by a felon and his third or subsequent offense for possession of a controlled substance violation. Burnie was arrested on Thursday and charged with two Class D Felonies for his third or subsequent possession of a controlled substance violation. Both men were booked into the Greene County Jail.
