The Guthrie Center City Council met in regular session last Monday.

The Council approved the second reading of an ordinance repealing section 75.06 which required all-terrain and utility-terrain vehicles to be registered within city limits, and the second reading of an ordinance adding North Eighth Street from North Street to Bluff Street as a no parking zone, and adopted both resolutions. They then approved a resolution labeling a new warehouse for Buttler Agronomy LLC as tax exempt, and tabled a decision on changing speed limits on School Street and Bluff Street east of North 12th Street to Highway 44. The Council also heard the City Hall Report, which covered the current Guthrie Center Fire Department workman’s compensation coverage.
