A second suspect has been arrested following a series of vehicle thefts in Scranton.
According to court documents, 22-year-old Christian Long of Texas was arrested Wednesday with charges of a Class D Felony for second degree theft, an aggravated misdemeanor for third degree burglary of a motor vehicle, and a simple misdemeanor for fifth degree theft.
The charges stem from an investigation by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office that began on September 5th. Long and two other individuals are accused of stealing a vehicle from Scranton, which was later found in Carroll, as well as breaking into another vehicle in Scranton and stealing $120 in cash. Long and the other two individuals were later found in Missouri where they were allegedly involved in another burglary.
Long was booked into the Greene County Jail and was released after posting a $7,000 surety bond. Another suspect, 23-year-old Najaee Harrell, was arrested and booked into jail on October 5th. She was released after posting a $7,300 bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
