Roger Burnie

A second person has been arrested in a drug-related investigation in Greene County.

According to court documents, as part of the investigation by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office that began on July 12th, three search warrants were executed on August 8th at three properties. The warrants came after a tip was brought to a deputy about methamphetamine being manufactured at a home in Dana. The meth was then taken to another home in Jefferson in the 200 block of Stream Street, where it was sold to other individuals. One of those alleged individuals was 37-year-old Roger Burnie, who lives in the 300 block of East State Street.

Court documents show deputies found at Burnie’s home marijuana and prescription drugs. Burnie was arrested on Thursday and charged with two Class D Felonies for his third or subsequent possession of a controlled substance violation. He was booked into the Greene County Jail. 

Another alleged suspect, 39-year-old Eric Rosenow was arrested on Tuesday and faces charges of two Class D Felonies for possession, dominion, control of firearms/offensive weapons by a felon and his third or subsequent offense for possession of a controlled substance violation.
