The Jayettes fell on the volleyball court in their final regular match vs the Greene County Rams on Thursday night in three straight sets. The Rams took the first set by a score of 25-11. That gave them the 1-0 lead to begin the match. Perry then fought tough in the second set, but fell short again falling 25-17. Greene County then eventually sealed the deal in the third set as they finished the Jayettes off 25-12.
The loss drops Perry to 11-23 to close out their regular season. They will be back in action this upcoming Tuesday as they begin regionals. They will take on the Fort Dodge Dodgers in the Class 4A Region 3 bracket. Fort Dodge finished 17-10 on the season themselves.
