Wednesday, October 11th

12:25am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on Jordan Avenue near 237th Street.

1:20pm: Christian Long 22 of Texas was booked into the jail for theft 5th degree, theft 2nd degree, and burglary 3rd degree- motor vehicle.

1:21pm: A deputy, Scranton Fire, and Greene County Ambulance responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on E Avenue near 250th Street. Adam Toney 27 of Carroll was pulling out of a field drive in a 1998 Volvo Semi tractor and a grain trailer. The shoulder of the roadway sank causing the trailer to roll onto its side pulling the tractor over with it. The tractor was a total loss and the trailer had an estimated 25,000 dollars in damage. The driver was taken to the Greene County Medical Center with suspected minor injuries.

4:45pm: A deputy investigated an animal neglect complaint in the 700 block of Jay Street, Churdan.

8:00pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint in the 2000 block of 140th Street.

9:35pm: A deputy investigated a fire in the 1000 block of State Street, Scranton. The property owner put the fire out.

Thursday, October 12th

12:05am: A deputy investigated a fire in the 1000 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

5:52am: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 230th Street near S Avenue.

8:15am: Roger Burnie 37 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent offense.

10:11am: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near K Avenue.

11:40am: Benjamin Murphy 41 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for a sex offender registry violation.

4:12pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle in the 1400 block of Kirkwood Avenue.

10:07pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street and S Avenue.

Friday, October 13th

4:05am: A deputy investigated a 911 hang up in the 500 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

4:13am: A deputy located a vehicle that was stolen out of Des Moines on Neola Avenue near 290th Street. The vehicle was impounded and is under investigation by the Des Moines Police Department.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
