The Dallas County Auditor and Commissioner of Election, Julia Helm, has announced that next week people can absentee vote in the November 7 City/School Election. 

Absentee ballots may be cast in person at the Dallas County Auditor’s Office at 210 N 10th St., Adel, IA, during regular office hours Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm from October 18th until Monday, November 6, 2023.

Absentee ballots to be mailed must be requested in writing.  Forms are available at the Auditor’s Office and on their website. 

All requests for ballots to be mailed must be received by the Auditor’s Office by 5 pm October 23. In order for your ballot to count, it must be returned by the close of polls on election day.
