Greene County’s varsity volleyball team is at home in the high school gym in Jefferson tonight vs. West Marshall (State Center) in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play. Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s Rams have dropped four of their last five matches right after they put a five match winning streak on the board.

Both the Rams and Trojans are 2-2 in the conference and the Rams are 11-10 on the season while WM stands at 13-17. Greene County has been led all season long by its only two seniors in hitter Kaylee Stalder and back row specialist Graci Cooklin.

Paton-Churdan also plays volleyball at home tonight in Rolling Valley Activities Conference play. Coach Makayla Spaar’s team is looking for their first win of the season while the opponent, Woodbine, is 11-12. The Rockets are 0-8 in matches and 0-24 in sets.
