Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity is still searching for some help in Guthrie County.

Executive Director Ron Christensen says that they are looking for a project construction manager. He adds that interested individuals will not be required to have construction knowledge, and will mainly need to just be a person in charge on the sites, be a good leader, and make sure things are done safely so that people don’t get hurt.

Christensen mentions that there are training programs that Habitat for Humanity offers should those interested in the position wish to take them. Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity’s work in Guthrie County currently includes building a deck in Bayard, and working on gutters, soffit and fascia on a home in Stuart.
