With voting for local elections coming up, there are many who may be unable to vote in person on November 7th.

That’s where absentee ballots come in. Guthrie County Residents can either vote by mail in ballot, or go to the Guthrie County Auditor’s Office to vote in person before election day, and can ask to do so beginning October 18th. County Auditor Dani Fink says that the last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is October 23 by 5pm. She adds that for absentee ballots to be counted, they must be received by her office by 8pm on November 7th. To get an absentee ballot request form, residents can call the Auditor’s Office at 641-747-3619 or print one at
home by going to their web page https://guthriecounty.gov/government/county-offices/auditor/elections/.
