The Perry Chamber of Commerce wrapped up their summer farmers market after 18 weeks on Thursday.

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says they have held a summer farmers market from 4 to 7pm every Thursday night since June 1st. Pasutti says it was bitter sweet finishing up another year of having a summer farmers market on Second Street.

Like I said, a long season with 18 weeks of fresh produce, baked goods and home grown items and then special guests. So the really fun season overall continues to grow year after year. And so it’s just been fun to see how that has evolved.”

Pasutti adds that residents who attended one of the summer markets can participate in a survey to give the chamber feedback and recommendations to better improve the market in the future. She explains what kind of feedback they are looking for.

“Let us know, ‘Hey we had a great number of produce this year but we were lacking on baked goods or something like that.’It is just a chance to let us know and tell us how often you came and did you shop and dine around during that time. So we are just getting some data.”

The survey is linked here. Pasutti mentions that they will now be gearing up for their fall farmers market from 10am-2pm on October 21st.
