Paton-Churdan remained without a volleyball victory when Glidden-Ralston traveled to Churdan on Thursday night and won a Rolling Valley Activities Conference match in Churdan. The Rockets lost by scores of 14-25, 13-25, 8-25 to fall to 0-8 on the season in matches, 0-24 in sets, and 0-6 in conference play.

Coach Makayla Spaar reports four kills from Grace Cullum. Kaliyah Minnehan had four digs and Minnehan and Hailey Hoyle each recorded an ace serve.

Greene County hasn’t played in more than a week, but Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s Rams will host a seven team tournament tomorrow at the high school in Jefferson. Rated teams in the field are Stanton, fifth in Class 1A, and South Hardin (Eldora), eighth in 2A. Carroll, Nodaway Valley, Pella Christian, and Carlisle round out the field with action starting at 9 a.m.
