Head coach Randy Schrader acknowledges the Des Moines Polar Bears’ ability to switch up their formations on the football field. He mentions that the Polar Bears can be unpredictable, going from one formation to another, like the Full House or a diamond formation. This unpredictability can make them a challenging team to handle if you’re not prepared.

He says, “They could be sneaky, I mean expect a couple of punts, so we need to be on the lookout for that. They do a lot of different things offensively.”

However, Coach Schrader also highlights that the Tigers are prepared as well as they can be. He believes their defense is becoming something special, and he’s proud of the growth they’ve seen in their players and coaching staff. “I think our defense is going to continue to evolve over the next few weeks and we are just going to get better and if I was going to hang my hat on something right now this is going to be the one area that we will continue and prove is going to be our deepest because our coaches are really starting to evolve it and tweak it and understand it a little bit better ”  This preparation gives them confidence to face the Polar Bears, who may have many formations up their sleeves.

So, while the Polar Bears may keep opponents guessing, Tigers are ready for the challenge and have confidence in their own growth and preparation for tonight’s matchup.
