The Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center High School Marching Band is getting ready for another competition, after performing well in Creston earlier in September.

Band Director Kyra Babcock says that the band will be heading to Carroll for Carroll Band Day tomorrow, a competition that the program has been competing at for over 50 years. This competition comes two weeks after the ensemble traveled to Creston for the Creston Annual Balloon Days Parade, and earned 1st place in Class 2A with their “Spanish Parade” performance, and 4th place overall. AC/GC will be competing in Class 2A at Carroll Band Day.
