The West Central Valley Wildcats were back on the volleyball court last night as they competed in the Saydel Volleyball Tournament at Saydel High School. West Central Valley finished in 2nd place overall in the tournament. They pulled off a win against Des Moines East, 2-1. They also picked up wins against Hoover 2-0 and defeated Saydel in their home tournament 2-0 also. The Wildcats unfortunately fell to Clarke in the championship game 2-0 that ended their run and led them to the second place finish in the tournament.
The Wildcats are now currently 4-17 overall. They will look to continue to improve on the volleyball court. There next outing will be tonight as they travel out to Earlham to take on the Earlham Cardinals. The game will kick off at 7 PM at Earlham High School. I will provide results right after the match right here on K 107.9 and on our website raccoonvalleyradio.com.
