The Grand View Christian Thunder spoiled the party at West Central Valley’s homecoming game on Friday night as they defeated the Wildcats on the gridiron, 31-22. After leading 7-6 at the end of the 1st quarter, West Central Valley went into the locker room trailing 19-14. The game was close at the end of the 3rd quarter as well, as the Thunder put up 6 points in the 3rd, as well as 8 for the Wildcats. Grand View Christian led 25-22 going into the 4th quarter. That is when Grand View Christian hit the dagger touchdown in the 4th that led them to the 31-22 victory. The loss drops West Central Valley to 1-4 on the season. While the win moves Grand View Christian to 3-2. Senior quarterback Noah John was 16 for 25 for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also rushed for 2 touchdowns with 104 yards rushing as well.

Next up for West Central Valley, they will hit the road to take on Nodaway Valley this upcoming Friday night at Nodaway Valley High School.
