The AC/GC Chargers football team will be hosting the Riverside Bulldogs tonight for their Homecoming game.

Leading the Chargers in passing and rushing yards is junior Jathan South, with 3 out of 10 passes completed for 100 yards and a touchdown with 446 rushing yards on 50 carries for 8 touchdowns. Senior Anthony Solorzano leads the team in receiving yards, hauling the pigskin in for one reception for 54 yards and 3 touchdowns. Fellow senior Tegan Slaybaugh leads in total tackles with 27, and 2 tackles for a loss of yards.

The Bulldogs passing yards leader is senior Grady Jeppesen, completing on 58 of 84 passes for 674 yards and 6 touchdowns, along with 230 rushing yards and 6 rushing touchdowns. Sophomore Jaxon Gordon leads in both rushing and receiving yards, with 101 carries for 548 yards and 4 touchdowns, along with 16 receptions for 246 yards and 1 touchdown. Junior AC Roller leads on the defensive end, with 33.5 total tackles, 2 of which were for a loss of yards.

These two teams have met each other in action three other times, with AC/GC winning all three games. The Chargers are currently 4-0, and ranked 6th in Class A according to the Associated Press, while the Bulldogs are 1-3.
