Landry Glasgow has been a bright for the Dallas Center-Grimes’ volleyball team and its no surprise.
Glasgow is a multi-sport athlete for the Mustangs as she excels on the soccer pitch scoring 11 goals as a sophomore along with a game winning kick against North Scott in the state tournament. Now she is showing her talents on the volleyball court. Glasgow has started all 15 matches as a junior and is leading the Mustangs kills with 103. Head Coach Meg Jackson talks more about her athleticism.
“If you’ve if you’ve ever seen her play, you’ve seen her play soccer. She’s very fast. She jumps very, very well. And so she’s a tough she is a tough hitter, too. I’m guessing for opponents to try to take care of.”
The Mustangs will be back on the court for the Nevada Varsity Volleyball Invite on Saturday and then they will be back at home next Tuesday against Des Moines Lincoln.
