The ribbon was cut for a new childcare service in Perry on Tuesday.

The Perry Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Perry Lutheran Homes Acorns and Oaks Intergenerational Preschool. Acorns and Oaks Christian Academy partnered with Perry Lutheran Homes to renovate and establish this preschool for three and four-year-olds into the PLH King’s Campus. Director of Perry Lutheran Homes Marketing Mollie Clark says that child care is important to the City of Perry.

Not just supports the families, but the entire economy and industry as well. It allows people to have that peace of mind and know that their kiddo is well taken care of while they are out working and providing for their family.”

The new preschool has the ability to enroll 12 students for the morning and afternoon preschool classes. The ribbon cutting ceremony was met with a packed crowd.
