AC/GC Marching Band at their competition in Creston last year

Last weekend the Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center Chargers Marching Band was on the road.

The ensemble competed at the Creston Annual Balloon Days Parade, and earned 1st place in Class 2A, and 4th place overall. The team was led by AC/GC Band Director Kyra Babcock, along with Color Guard Head Coach Jessica Fridley and Assistant Coach Haley Cose. With 20 windplayers, five drumline players and three color guard members, the group was able to put on their “Spanish Parade.” A photograph of the team is included with this story.
