Friday, September 15th

12:23pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near X Avenue.

2:09pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on U Avenue near 260th Street.

2:31pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 700 block of Brentwood Avenue.

2:34pm: A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 600 block of S Avenue.

4:50pm: Jonathan Law 39 of Churdan was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

5:47pm: Ryan Brown 51 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for eluding and driving while barred.

6:17pm: A deputy, Jefferson Police Department, Jefferson Fire Department, and Greene County Ambulance responded to a structure fire in the 500 block of West State Street, Jefferson. There was smoke damage and minor damage to the bathroom in the residence. The cause of the fire was candle that was knocked over by a child.

Saturday, September 16th

12:01am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an arrest in the 700 block of Wild Rose Lane. Diego Cobo 21 of Webster City was arrested for public intoxication and open container.

12:28am: Diego Cobo 21 of Webster City was booked into the jail for public intoxication and open container.

3:00am: A deputy assisted the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office with an arrest in the 33000 block of 330th Street.

3:18pm: A deputy investigated a no contact order violation in the 500 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

7:02pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street near M Avenue.

7:29pm: A deputy assisted the Polk County Sheriff’s Office with attempting to locate a subject in the 100 block of South Wise Street, Paton.

7:35pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 500 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

11:19pm: A deputy investigated a scam in the 1100 block of 220th Street.

11:30pm: A deputy and Grand Junction fire responded to a grass fire on 220th Street and X Avenue.

Sunday, September 17th

4:03pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 1600 block of Meadow Avenue.

4:09pm: A deputy investigated a dog complaint in the 1000 block of Eagle Street, Scranton.

5:17pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on 240th Street and G Avenue.

8:26pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of controlled substances in the 900 block of Locust Street, Scranton.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
