In a thrilling homecoming game, ADM finished the night with an win that left a statement for all teams in class 4A throughout the state of Iowa. On Friday, September 15, at home the Tigers took on the undefeated Norwalk Warriors. The Tigers scored the first touchdown on their first possession and never looked back once they did.

A piece of ADM’s success came from them taking control of the game clock. Employing a quick huddle offense, they left the Warriors’ defense with minimal time to communicate and adjust between plays, keeping them constantly on edge. ADM’s offensive strategy also featured an off-balanced approach, keeping 3 receivers on one side of the field to open up room on the opposite side, introducing unpredictability to their plays and formations.

Defensively, ADM surprised their opponents with a new formation, making it challenging for the Warriors as the Tigers overloaded the Warriors offensive line to rush the Warriors quarterback Aidan Harder giving him limited time to throw. This strategic innovation paid off, as ADM defense held the Warriors from scoring until the end of the third quarter with around 2 minutes left to end it.

Ultimately, ADM’s combination of clock management, offensive variety, and defensive creativity proved instrumental in securing a memorable victory against the previously unbeaten Norwalk Warriors, leaving their homecoming a fun game for the athletes on the fields and the fans in the stands.
