Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center Schools is starting off Homecoming week today.

Today is Tourist Day, where students can wear their favorite vacation attire, while tomorrow is BBQ Dads and Soccer Moms. Wednesday is Class Color Day, with the Ironman Volleyball game starting at 6pm in the high school gym, with the Powderpuff Football game to follow on the football field.

Thursday’s theme is Cowboys in the Jungle, where students dress as cowboys, and the cross country team will have their home meet starting at 4:30pm. Friday is Spirit Day, with the Homecoming Parade starting at 2:15pm, with a pep rally to follow. At 3:30pm, the cross country team will begin running the game ball from Adair to the football field, and from 4-6:30pm the AC/GC Booster Club will be hosting a tailgate party, with free food, and games, bounce houses and face painting.

The Homecoming game will begin at 7pm, and coronation will take place during halftime. Saturday will be the final day of celebration for the week, with the Homecoming dance, with doors opening at 7:45pm with a $5 entry fee, and the dance to take place from 8-11pm.
