The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday night.

The Council discussed the two letters of interest for the vacant Council seats, and approved to appoint Roger Dorr and Blake Michelsen to the Council effective September 25th. Mayor Curtis Thornberry let the Council know that he has selected Councilman Brian Dorsett as Mayor Pro Tem, and Dorsett accepted.

The Council then approved resolutions pertaining to updated corporate authorization with Iowa Trust and Savings Bank, and accepting fee estimates for auditing services with Feldmann and Company for a three year term, with the estimates coming to $11,550 in fiscal year 2023, $12,250 in fiscal year 2024 and $12,950 in fiscal year 2025. Change Order number five for the Jackson Street Project was also approved, adding $2,600 to the project for a sanitary service relocation.
