September is registration month for 4-H and Clover Kid members.

Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Program Director Meghan McBride says that members who are renewing their memberships can use 4-HOnline to get themselves set for this year, and those who are just joining, can get in contact with the Extension for any help that they may need. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio how members can choose or decide on which club they want to be a part of.

“Some of the groups have different focuses and I know sometimes it’s easier if you know someone in the group, or know a leader or have a connection. Otherwise the clubs are named by townships so you could do that too if you know your township.”

McBride mentions that a list of the clubs in Guthrie County can be found on the Extension’s website, and includes names and contact information for club leaders, and interest focus areas for the clubs as well.
