Governor Kim Reynolds recently announced her appointment of a new district judge that will serve a portion of the Racoon Valley Radio listening area. 

David Faith was appointed to fill the vacancy for Randy Hefney, who was the Judge for  Judicial Election District 5A which includes Dallas, Guthrie, Jasper, Madison, Marion, and Warren counties.

Faith is from Indianola and is a deputy attorney general at the Iowa Office of the Attorney General.  He received an undergraduate degree from Concordia College and his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law.
