The Wildcats fell on the gridiron on Friday night 30-28 against the Red Oak Tigers. The loss moved the Wildcats to 1-2 on the season. West Central Valley had a solid first half as they led 15-6 going into the locker room. Red Oak then cut the lead to 1 in the 3rd quarter making it 15-14 West Central Valley. It was a big 4th quarter for both teams, but none bigger than Red Oak as they put up 16 points that eventually ended up sealing the deal for the Tigers, leading them to the 30-28 close win over West Central Valley. Junior Adam Baier for Red Oak ran all over West Central Valley as he put up 277 yards in 26 carries and stuck it in the endzone 3 times. Quarterback Mason Fisher was 6 for 14 for 63 yards in the win for Red Oak as well.

West Central Valley will look to bounce back next week as they will be back at home taking on South Hamilton. The South Hamilton Hawks are currently 2-1 on the season as well. They will look to remain .500 while West Central Valley will try to get back to .500. It will be Patriot night at West Central Valley High School. Kickoff will be at 7 PM.
