It was a busy end of the week for the Perry volleyball team on the volleyball court. The two wins moved them to 3-8 on the season. Against Des Moines East, Perry eked out the first set, winning 24-22. It was more of the same in the second set as they won 21-18 which sealed the first win for the Jayettes. Against Ogden, the Jayettes actually fell the first set, 21-17. Perry then took sets 2 and 3 by a score of 21-19 and 15-4. Senior Maci Tunick led Perry in kills in the Des Moines East game, while Charity Parnell had 1.7 kills in the 2-1 victory against the Ogden Bulldogs as well.
