Both the West Central Valley boys and girls cross country teams raced in the Audubon Cross Country Invitational on Thursday night. The girls finished in an impressive 2nd place of the teams that were participating. Tri-Center CSD took first in the invite. Junior Taitlin Koch finished in 1st overall for the Wildcats as she put up a 5k time of 21:45:06. Freshman Dallas Morgan was the next gal in line for West Central Valley as she finished with a 25:59:83. She came in 5th place overall.
On the boys side of things, they finished in 5th place total as a team in the meet. Senior Cael Hazen led the pack for the Wildcats as he put up a 20:00:45. That put Hazen in 11th place overall in the meet. Freshman Caiden Guisinger finished in 20th place and was the next guy to cross the finish line for West Central Valley. He put up a 5k time of 21:25:04.
It was a great meet for both the boys and girls. The boys and girls teams were back in action at Greene County Middle School for the Ram Invitational on Saturday morning.
