The U.S. News and World Report released its rankings on the best high schools, and a local school was named. 

Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School was ranked 10th out of 317 high schools statewide and they were ranked 1,767 out of 18,000 schools in the country. 

The publication’s Best High Schools Rankings for 2023-24 were compiled using data from nearly 25,000 high schools nationwide. Schools were then ranked based on multiple factors, including student performance on state assessments, curriculum, college readiness, and graduation rates.
