4-H members in Adair County have a deadline coming up at the beginning of next month.
Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Youth Coordinator Caroline Savage says that 4-Hers have until October 2nd to turn in their record books for their projects and exhibits from the previous year. Members must complete their books before turning them over to the Extension Office. Savage adds that there will be some updated forms on the Extension’s website to use, and that those 4-Hers that turn in their books by the deadline will be able to attend the Awards Day in the beginning of November.
Savage reminds 4-H members that there is also a meeting Sunday for the Youth Council, and that those in 9th through 12th grades that are interested in being part of the Council. She also mentions that enrollment is open, so members need to get signed up for their groups by the end of the month as well.
