Teacher Appreciation Night is bringing an extra layer of significance to the ADM Tigers’ football game against the formidable Lewis Central Titans. Lewis Central has a track record of making it to the state game for the past two years, highlighting their strong performance in high school football. Despite ADM’s undefeated record and their previous matchups against 4A teams like Newton, tonight’s game serves as a major test to determine whether the Tigers can compete at the 4A level.
Coach Randy Schrader’s comments underscore the importance of this game, not just in their season but also in their pursuit of success at the 4A level. His statement, “this is a test for us, this is a power in class 4A and we’ll find out real quick if we belong or not. it’s going to be a lot of fun and our kids are going to have to rise to the challenge” reflecting the team’s desire to prove themselves against a tough opponent. Additionally, saying that they will face adversity throughout the season and tonight’s game is one that will help them learn how to overcome it.
