Greene County hasn’t played Atlantic in football since the 2o2o season and the Rams haven’t beaten the Trojans on the gridiron since ?????? The Class 3A Trojans will visit the 2A Rams at Linduska Field in Jefferson tomorrow night on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. There was to have been a Junior Varsity Reserve game at 5 p.m., but that has been cancelled, so it’s one game with varsity kickoff at 7 o’clock. No reason for the cancellation of the preliminary game was given to Raccoon Valley Radio.

The Trojans are 1-1 with a win over 2A Clarke (Osceola) to open the season and a loss last week to 4A number 4 ranked Glenwood. The Rams are 1-1 after a season opening loss at Carroll High and a home win vs. Perry last week.

Coach Caden Duncan of the Rams told Raccoon Valley Radio the Trojans have a lot of size along the line, and are very skilled at the running back and receiver positions. They haven’t thrown the ball a lot in the early going, but have been very successful when they have put the ball in the air. The Trojans have allowed 33 and 47 points in the first two games.
