Sept 5:
Officers responded to the 2000 block of Willis Ave on a report of a domestic dispute. Parties separated for the day.
Accident:
Unit 1 White 2015 chevy TRX registered to and driven by Sharon Ann Ashby, 410 Jefferson St, Fontanelle, IA.
Unit 2 White 2019 Ford F35 Pick up registered to Cody Jergins Construction LLC, 6 Orchard Cir, Estherville, IA driven by Ora Lee Weston III, 3941 210th St., Estherville, IA.
Unit 1 was traveling west in the 1100 block of Willis Ave through the traffic light intersection of 1st and Willis. She rent through the red turn signal to turn east onto 1st Ave and struck the drivers side rear tire area of unit two with her vehicle. Unit 2 was traveling northbound on 1st Ave. Total estimated damages $14,000. Driver of unit 1 cited for failure to yield upon left, turn. Accident:
Unit 1 unknown make or model vehicle.
Unit 2 legally parked white 2012 GMC Acadia Denali registered to Pedro Juan Borjas, 315 10th St., Perry.
Unit 1 an unknown dark colored truck was traveling north in the parking lot of the Dallas County Hospital and attempted to park in a spot and struck unit 2. Unit 1 scraped its passenger side door along-side the rear bumper of unit 2 and caused paint transfer to unit 1. This was determined by security footage. Total estimated damages $1300, Information on Unit 1 not available at the time of the release. Under investigation.
Officers responded to the 1600 block of 3rd St., on a report of harassment. Civil dispute. Advised the parties not to communicate with each other.
Sept 6:
Officers responded to the 2800 block of 1st Ave on a report of a disturbance. Situation calmed down.
