An author will make a stop at the Carnegie Library Museum this week in Perry.
Neil D. Hamilton is the director of Drake University’s Agricultural Law Center and author of the book called “The River Knows: How Water and Land Can Shape Our Future.” Hamilton will make a stop from 10 to 11am on Saturday at the library museum.
Those in attendance will learn the history of conservation in Iowa, soil health, water quality and public lands. He will also give his own personal perspective from a person in an authority position of agriculture and land policy. Those people who register will be able to win door prizes, but it is a free event and open to the public.
