The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Marching Band has been working hard to put on a great performance at  halftime of the first home football game this Friday. 

ADM Band Advisor Russel Braun says their first performance of the fall season will come this Friday when the Tigers take on Lewis Central in Adel. Braun says they will have four home football games; they will perform their halftime show called “Take Flight,” which incorporates songs that deal with flying. 

“We open up our show with a sound of a jet taking off, using our sound system and then going right into that Top Gun theme, which I think will be super exciting. Ends with the theme from 2001 A Space Odyssey.”

Braun says they hope to perform two-thirds of the show with the goal in mind to run the whole program during their homecoming halftime show on September 15th. Raccoon Valley Radio will broadcast the ADM vs Lewis Central game on 107.9 FM at 7pm.
